Mhairi worked with me as a post natal doola for 3 weeks in June last year. I was delighted with her and it really took the pressure off me. I particularly wanted her to focus on looking after my 2 year old and it worked really well and it made my daughter feel special having all the attention (she still mentions Mhairi a year on). Mhairi also helped with the baby, the house work and even walking the dog.

Mhairi was with my husband and I for the birth of our daughter in October last year and was invaluable. She was just the right combination of there when needed but unobtrusive. Her presence allowed my husband to focus on me and for me to focus on my labour. Her confident reassurance and encouragement enabled me to stay calm and positive and I seriously attribute her help to the avoidance of the interventions which the midwife had prepared ready in front of us.
Surficed to say even though we don't know when the next baby will come she is already booked.
